Meet julie

I have had a love and awe for flying since as long as I can remember. My father was a pilot, so I grew up with aviation being a big part of my life. I took every opportunity I could to fly with him.

With the dream always sitting in the back of my mind, I eventually took the opportunity to learn to fly! Initially, I thought I would just get my private pilot's licence and be content, however, the more I learnt, the more I wanted to keep learning. So, I went on to complete my Instrument rating, and then my commercial pilot's licence.

My father passed away before I finished all my licences but he always encouraged me to keep learning. He would say 'It makes you a safer pilot’, and ‘Every flight teaches you something’.

Our family often fly for our own use, however, I decided I wanted to fly commercially with my own aircraft and use my love for flying to extend a helping hand to others in some way.

With my love for flying, air, clouds and the wonder of the sky, I wanted a name that reflected that.

Thus, ‘Aeris J’ was born. ‘Aeris’ meaning air/atmosphere. ‘J’ because of my name Julie but also ‘Juliette’ was always one of the phonetic letters in each of my father's aircrafts he owned. So it seemed fitting to add ‘J’.
